Johnnie was born and raised in Kansas City and is known around San Diego as Kadume.

 

His unique personal style is well recognized and revered. He is a vegetarian and appreciates garden-grown food and herbs. Kadume paints with a blend of aboriginal pointillism and tribal influenced techniques.  He has created several commissioned pieces of art for patrons seeking his aesthetic. Kadume was formerly enrolled in college art classes where he developed his first portfolio.
