Sydney was born with Optic Nerve Hypoplasia, which means she has limited vision in her left eye and is totally blind in her right eye. Sydney reads and writes in both Braille and print. She plays the piano by ear and has performed live. 

 

Sydney is a visual and social practice artist. She loves making art out of discarded items,  coloring intricate designs, weaving, and making soaps. Her soaps are beautiful miniature sculptures, almost too pretty to use! Her products can be found on her Facebook page: Soap Designs by Sydney. 

 

Sydney's mission is to make the world a better place. As an environmental expert, she has a passion to educate the public on the impact of their choices. She likes to create videos and join conversations about climate change, conservation, and equal rights. She has participated in local rallies and is an active member of CleanEarth4Kids.
