Vickie is originally from New York and is now a grandparent! She is known locally as a teaching artist at the San Diego Central Library. Her non-profit, Dancing Around the Oak Tree, provides instructional videos to people with disabilities to think creatively about materials. She enjoys creating art from recycled items, using indigenous methods, and has recently begun working with mosaics.
